Minton Tiles unveiled at St George’s Hall 

Minton Tiles - St George's Halls

The historic Minton Tiles at St George’s Hall are stunning and they’re back on display from Friday until September 2. The Victorian mosaic, the largest of its kind in the world with around 30,000 hand crafted tiles, will be unveiled for the first time since 2023, alongside an expanded programme of events.

This award-winning show is a proper musical spectacular so if you’re a fan of the Baz Luhrmann film or you just love being transported into a different world with a dazzling riot of colour, music and dance then this is one not to miss. Practice days have already started, then the 154th Open championship itself gets underway from Thursday until Sunday.

Watch the World Cup semi-final at Aintree Racecourse

If you thought Saturday night’s game against Norway was a nail-biter, wait until Wednesday when we face one of the greatest players ever, Messi, and Argentina. Play golf at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Sport this week is all about footy and golf, and Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium is combining the two. From Thursday to Sunday Upper Deck Golf is taking over the Blues home so you can hit tee shots from the upper levels to custom greens on the pitch below. There’s a clubhouse festival with music, beers, food and golfing challenges too.

The fabulous Choir with No Name Liverpool will be back at the Everyman this Saturday night for its annual Big Gig with poet Joseph Roberts as special guest. The choir features people impacted by homelessness and exclusion and their live performances are always a really joyous feelgood experience.
