Think about it, we are the city that everyone wants to be. A culturally diverse and rich city full of the most eclectic people and places. There is something for everyone, if its not both of our cathedrals, its our booming night life or UNESCO world heritage Albert Dock.

We have better music than them

Not only that, in Football “You’ll Never Walk Alone” is known as one of the sports most powerful anthems – Popularised by the scouse Gerry and The Pacemakers. Did you know that Liverpool is the worlds most successful popular music city? Having more number one singles than any other city in the world. When it comes the music, there is more reasons to envy Liverpool than anywhere else in the world.

We have better nightlife than them

When someone from rural countryside goes out to have fun, they have to pay £50 for a taxi through dark country lanes, only to arrive at some dusty old mans pub that has a Deal or no Deal fruit machine and lads with haircuts straight out of the 90’s. As opposed to Liverpool, which has more new bars popping up weekly and clubs that are replicated all across Europe. Our girls are fantastic and there is something for everyone. This is the reason why more hen and stag parties are coming to Liverpool than any other city in the UK.

We have the best football teams

Liverpool or Everton, you can’t deny that this city’s history and achievements when it comes to football far surpass anyone else. If it isn’t Liverpool FC winning more major trophies than anyone else (Ok, we are level with Manchester United, admittedly) you also have the history of Everton FC being one of the most historical football clubs in the world. No wonder so many fans from all over the world fly to Liverpool to visit our great teams.

We have a thriving tourism industry

Many thanks to Liverpool being the city with the most listed buildings in the UK outside of London, being the most successful popular music city in the world thanks to bands like The Beatles and the great Merseybeat movement, thanks to our football teams and also thanks to our beauty and culture – We are seeing tourism boom in our city at a staggering pace! This year Liverpool is having more cruise ships into our ferry terminal than ever before and we are already set to smash all tourism records! How could you not want to visit Liverpool?
