With top games, amazing food and drink, and promising a guaranteed laugh with your mates, Roxy Ball Room is always right up there when it comes to getting out and about in Liverpool for the best time.

But now there’s even more reason to head to one of the city’s three fab Roxy venues, after it’s canned its own branded lager.

The competitive gaming favourite is marking its 10th anniversary with the release of a very special brew called Arc Shot Lager, which has been inspired by one of its most popular games, beer pong.

Its name is a tribute to one of the winning techniques in the boss bar game, and each can of ‘Arc Shot’, will feature beer pong tips and rules so its drinkers can brush up on their skills and maybe gain an advantage over their opponents.

But even if they don’t score big in the game, they’ll score in terms of taste, enjoying a glass of the smooth amber nectar created by one of the UK’s finest brewers. Arc Shot has been brewed in collaboration with Britain’s oldest brewery, Shepherd Neame, in Kent. Shepherd Neame’s famed for its award-winning distinctive beers like Kentish Strong Ale, Spitfire Lager, Whitstable Bay Ale, and Bear Island brands.

And so you know – and for the connoisseurs out there – Arc Shot is a 4.0% classic lager containing a well-balanced blend of brown and lager malts, lightly hopped for a clean, crisp, refreshing taste.

Roxy Leisure’s Sales and Marketing Director, Joel Mitchell, says:

“At Roxy Leisure, we’re always looking for new ways to take our food and beverage offering to the next level, and we’ve been working with Shepherd Neame for over a year to produce an exciting 440ml canned lager that’s perfect for any night out.

“With our activities being at the forefront of everything we do, we felt it was only right to create a lager that paid homage to one of our favourite and most popular games, beer pong!”

The Roxy Leisure group currently has 17 sites across the UK, with a 18th being opened in York in February.

Liverpool is lucky to have not one, but three, venues with Roxy Ball Rooms in Cavern Quarter and Hanover Street, and Roxy Lanes on School Lane, offering games like American pool and Roxy golf, shuffleboard, ping pong, karaoke, crazy pool, basketball, arcade games and, of course, beer pong!

Roxy Lanes specialises in bowling, but there are loads more activities for you to check out, like Ice-Free Curling, Tech Darts and more, and the great thing about this venue is that under 18s are welcome to join in on the fun.

They all have a brilliant food menu which includes hand-stretched Italian focaccia pizzas with loads of tasty toppings, hot dogs, chicken wings and super-tasty American-style sharing sides (like loaded fries, chilli cheese bites, and kickin’ popcorn chicken), and a drinks menu which has everything from soft drinks and great no and low selections to signature cocktails, wines, spirits, spritzers, and beers.

So raise a glass to Roxy with its new Arc Shot Lager, now available for guests to enjoy at all Roxy Ball Room and Roxy Lanes sites.
