Sandway Homes unveils £12m development in Netherton

Sandway Homes, a developer dedicated to setting new standards in quality living, has unveiled its latest property venture, Molyneux Gardens.

Molyneux Gardens is a £12m project that marks a significant milestone in addressing the region’s housing needs, while enriching local communities through its council housing and market sale properties.

Spanning 3.6 acres of prime land, Molyneux Gardens showcases a meticulously crafted collection of 63 residences ranging from 50 to 138 square feet.

From cozy two-bedroom mews to spacious four-bedroom semi-detached and detached houses, each home is thoughtfully designed to offer a harmonious blend of style, functionality, and comfort.

Providing diverse housing options for residents, 18 of these homes will be acquired by Sefton Borough Council, representing the council’s first new housing initiative since 2006. The remaining 45 homes, ranging from £230,000 to £350,000, will be released in lots, with the first 11 available for prospective buyers to reserve now.

Each home in Molyneux Gardens has a strong EPC (energy performance certificate) rating of B and an electric vehicle charging point as standard. High-efficiency boilers, heating systems and energy-efficient designs further contribute to reducing the neighbourhood’s carbon footprint, aligning with Sandway Homes’ commitment to sustainability.

This project has been made possible through collaborative efforts and financial support from key stakeholders. The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s allocation of £1.05 million, alongside a Supplementary Capital Estimate of £2.2 million from Sefton Council, has played a crucial role in the development of Molyneux Gardens.

A core principle of Sandway Homes is its commitment to community reinvestment. All profits generated from the property sales within Molyneux Gardens will be paid back to Sefton Council. This ensures that each development is actively contributing to the enrichment and development of the local community.
