Get ready to brace yourselves for an explosion of rhythm, style, and jaw-dropping moves as Breakvision comes to Merseyside!

Merseyside’s highly anticipated hip-hop and break-dancing event, hits St Helens Town Hall this Sunday, June 4, as part of the Eurovision Legacy Programme.

Students from De La Salle, Outwood Academy Haydock, Sutton Academy and St Julies Primary School will be competing in the 2 vs 2 under 16s competition to win the competition for St Helens.

From 12:00 to 5:00pm the Town Hall will transform into a pulsating haven of Hip Hop culture, welcoming both competitive Break Dancers and curious onlookers to experience the soul-stirring energy that hip-hop and break dancing bring. Prepare to be dazzled by mind-bending flips, gravity-defying spins, and the synchronicity of dancers in perfect harmony with the beat.

Breakvision promises to be an afternoon of creativity and passion, showcasing a diverse range of dancers who will leave spectators awe-struck. From established Break Dance crews to up-and-coming individuals, the stage will be set ablaze by their explosive moves.

In addition to the exhilarating dance battles, Powered by Hip Hop (UC Crew) will also offer an array of interactive activities for families to enjoy. Participate in Hip Hop workshops led by industry professionals, where you can learn and watch the fundamentals of Break Dancing Graffiti Art, DJing, Beatboxing and Circus.

There is no cost to attend the event or join in the activity workshop, but we would encourage everyone to bring a donation to the St Helens Food Bank.

So mark your calendars, for This Sunday 4th June at St Helens Town Hall as it comes alive with the electrifying energy of Break Dancing and Hip Hop culture.

This event is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, Liverpool Council and Culture Liverpool as part of Eurofest.
