The momentum and excitement around women’s football continues to grow and on Saturday 31 August over 320 girls from 28 grassroots teams across Merseyside will come together for the annual Leasowe Girls Football Tournament. Over 150,000 people were in attendance for three days of spectacular racing and some of the most stylish looks we’ve seen during the event.

And great news for you, the 2027 dates are out. The Grand National will return from April 8-10 April 2027, and tickets go on sale Monday.

The Randox Grand National takes place at 4pm with up to 70,000 people in attendance today, it’s a complete sell-out.
