The Darkness to play intimate gig at Rough Trade this December ahead of 2025 tour

Christmas will come early for fans of The Darkness this year, as the legendary rock band will perform unreleased tracks from their upcoming albumĀ Dreams On ToastĀ live for the first time in a series of intimate UK shows this December.
Rough Trade Liverpool will host The Darkness on 12 December 2024, giving local fans a rare chance to see the group up close before their major 2025 arena tour.
The Darkness will also play Rough Trade East in London on 10 December, followed by Rough Trade Nottingham on the 11 December . These special performances promise an exclusive preview of new songs fromĀ Dreams On Toast, which is set to drop in March 2025 via Cooking Vinyl.
Fans can snag tickets starting at 10a.m on Friday, 25 October, through Dice – with each purchase including a signed tour poster.
Alongside fresh material, The Darkness are sure to treat audiences to their classic high-energy stage presence. Their newly released single, āThe Longest Kiss,ā has already teased fans with its ā70s pop-inspired vibes reminiscent of Queen and Paul McCartney, blending upbeat piano melodies with the bandās signature guitar riffs.
Following this run of intimate shows, the band will embark on a full-scaleĀ Dreams On ToastĀ UK headline tour in March 2025. Where they will play Liverpool, Guild Of StudentsĀ on March 14.
The 17-date tour will conclude with a massive performance at Londonās OVO Wembley Arena on March 29th. Supporting them on this tour will be Northern Irish indie-rock favourites Ash, who famously supported The Darkness over 20 years ago during their Permission to LandĀ tour.
Fans should act fast, as tickets for the December performances are expected to sell out quickly.
