Alongside Your Guide Liverpool, the city’s hottest weekly listicle, we’ve put together The Guide Top Five for the weekend, giving you the best event info, bars, restaurants and attractions to get the most out of your weekend. This week we’ve lined up where to drink, eat, chill, laugh and dance your bloody socks off, because lets face it, Monday always comes around too soon!

Here’s The Guide Top 5 for October Pay Day weekend…..

1 – DRINK: Lock & Key Hotel, Bar & Kitchen

2 – LAUGH: Rob Brydon at the Liverpool Empire

We’re heading back to the Liverpool Empire on Friday night to catch funny man, Rob Brydon. Famed for his brilliant portrayal as Bryn in Gavin and Stacey, hosting Would I lie to You and many, many more, his stand up routine is fast paced, witty and bloody hilarious. Tickets here.

The Guide Liverpool

Okay this looks incredible! One of three HUGE events happening on the run up to Christmas, our very own DJ Lee Butler invites all you ravers to Constellations for Classic Fest this Saturday night. After the lock-out launch event the main man returns for a second instalment of old school classics this Saturday so you can relive the glory days! Do not miss out! Get your tickets and get on it here.

4 – EAT: Bottomless Fondue & Prosecco at HUS

How does bottomless cheesy fondue and meatballs and prosecco sound as a plan for your Saturday afternoon in Liverpool? There’s two sittings planned each, lasting two hours where you take a seat in the lovely dining space and the wonder HUS staff bring cheesy fondue followed by unlimited meatballs, (or veggie meatballs), mash, fries and greens while your glass is constantly topped up with prosecco (or pints of beer if you prefer). Book. Here. Now.

5 – CHILL: Silent Yoga Disco at Sefton Park Palm House

We love bringing you new events to try out and this Sunday there’s going to be a Silent Yoga Disco at Sefton Park Palm House. Fusing music, good vibes, great posture and wellbeing this immersive session will leave you silently ecstatic! Find out more and book your spot here.
