The Lane, as it’s more affectionately known by locals, is a hub for foodie’s, musicians, artists, and exudes a cool bohemian atmosphere.

Lined either side with funky shops, boss bars, and fantastic restaurants, Lark Lane is one of the most popular destinations for a good scran and bevvy in the city.

The Butterholic began life in their home kitchen in Kirkby.

With its signature pastel de nata, filled croissants and cruffins already stocked in coffee shops and restaurants, The Butterholic built up a huge fanbase since it launched in lockdown… now they’ve opened their own shop on Lark Lane!

At Minna they care about traceability and locally sourced, organic produce. They’re massive on sustainability – inspired by their great nan Minna who turned a plot of land behind her council house into an allotment, and encouraged neighbours to grow their own veggies.

Their Cumberland curl muffin is a showstopper and a favourite with locals and regulars.

Freida Mo’s is a vegan bakery, vintage boutique emporium and music venue – stacked high with fashion, vinyl and plant-based goodies that will shock your taste buds and make your mouth water!

They also have custom hot chocolates so get yourselves in there to create your own unique flavours!

Started up by brothers Oliver and Tito, PRESS BROS. found its fame in the city within the Baltic Market. Serving up amazing coffee, as well as them boss kinder espresso martini’s. Now having opened their own stand alone premises, they have taken The Lane by storm.

Dishing out their great drinks and even better food. Just like their Sausage Patty Melt! A homemade sausage patty, melted American cheese, fried egg and a hash brown on a toasted English muffin, with a choice of red or brown sauce! Heavy. 

They have now added a permanent veggie & vegan version of this to the menu too!

This gaff is a modern take on traditional Greek street food. It is all about TASTE, they use the best Greek products to serve up in their own unique way to produce mouthwatering meals that will transport you to Greece. 

Their famous Skepasti is MASSIVE! Three layers of pita bread, two layers of salad, sauce, chicken gyros, crispy bacon, and crunchy halloumi. Do you reckon you would be up for this challenge?

An institution on Lark Lane. This Turkish grill has been serving up their perfectly cooked meats and sides for over 16-years! It is easy to understand why this place has stood the test of time once you have the food! Whether it is their massive mixed-grills, their special kebabs, or even one of their many mezes – there’s something to suit everyones taste buds.

After years of cooking Middle Eastern-inspired food at home, owner Tim decided to give it a go on the street food circuits. Hafla Hafla means “party party” in Arabic, and he wanted his food to be all about fun. Get on this though… Their Beef Brisket! It’s slow roasted with pomegranate bbq sauce, on a bed of Hafla’s famous homemade hummus. Fireworks going off in your mouth for this one!

Polidor 68

A beautiful French inspired bistro, cocktail and wine bar. Owner Rosie wanted somewhere in Liverpool just like the Parisian bistros that she loves so much.

Their delicious dishes make for a great light lunch or get some small plates and share them! Beautiful plates such as their stunning king prawns – sautéed garlic & chilli king prawns with ‘nduja, samphire and toasted sourdough. Definitely one to visit!

Pippin’s Corner

Pippin’s Corner is a cafe and eatery based on Lark Lane in South Liverpool. This dog friendly venue is perfect for good brekkies, and boss butties – who doesn’t love a good club sandwich ey? They also serve up some amazing loaded hot chocolates – and they even do a pup cup for your pooch to enjoy!

Bistro Noir

The cosy bistro on The Lane uses locally sourced ingredients which are lovingly made into their delectable dishes. They are big on flavour – expect dishes like Sri Lankan chicken, Jamaican Soul Food, and some absolutely spectacular burgers. Served on a brioche bun with deli mayo – they have four variations available, including a salt and pepper chicken and two vegan ones!
