We asked for your Sunday Roast votes and the results are in!
The absolute king of comfort food has to be the traditional Sunday Roast. Earlier this week we took to Twitter to ask which eatery does the best Sunday Roast in Liverpool and you’ve all got your favourites.
From huge fluffy Yorkshire puddings, to crispy roasties, lashings of red wine gravy, your votes covered all of Merseyside.

1 – Spitroast, Crosby & Smithdown
For just £10.50 you can rotisserie chicken with roasted carrots & parsnips, sweet potato mash, ‘the best roasties ever’, rosemary peas, creamed spring greens and homemade chicken gravy at Spitroast Crosby or Smithdown. Menus here.
2 – The Viking Pub & Bakehouse, West Kirby
There’s a whole host of local produce on offer on your sunday lunch at the Viking Pub & Bakehouse in West Kirby. 4 – The Baltic Social, Parliament St
Hey, they do a proper posh Sunday Roast at the Baltic Social you know. We’re talking starters such Brussels pate and prawn cocktail, followed by roast chicken, gammon or vegan pie with buttered greens and fit Yorkshires and then there’s dessert! 3 courses for just £16.95pp. Book here.
5 – The Club House, Liverpool ONE
Just look at that succulent beef and fluffy Yorkshire pudding! The Club House Liverpool ONE serves up a weekly Sunday Roast and you can choose from the likes of slow roasted pork belly, rotisserie chicken, Ridings Reserve British beef or mushroom, red lentil, stilton and chestnut roast with a whole host of sides from £10.95. 6 – Browns, Liverpool ONE
Liverpool ONE serves up another treat in the shape of the Sunday Roast offering from Browns, Paradise St. From just £12.95 you can indulge in a veggie nut roast with butternut squash puree and cherry jus or half roast chicken, salted belly pork or sirloin of beef with loads of trimmings. 7 – Courtyard Bar & Kitchen Queen Square
Queen Square eatery, Courtyard Bar & Kitchen offers two courses for £16 or three for £20 and the menu looks fantastic. 8 – Ma Boyle’s Alehouse & Eatery, Water St
Ma Boyle’s has turned this traditional dish on its head with their Sunday Roast Fondue option. Don’t swill your plate with gravy, dip your chicken or beef brisket, veg and Yorkshires into their red wine gravy instead and savour the moment! Traditional roasts are also available. 13 – 5 Fifty Bistro, Aigburth Road

14 – Frederik’s, Hope Street

One of the most beautiful dining rooms in the city, NYL Restaurant & Bar is the place to tuck into a great quality and value roast dinner.
