Just look at that succulent beef and fluffy Yorkshire pudding! The Club House Liverpool ONE serves up a weekly Sunday Roast and you can choose from the likes of slow roasted pork belly, rotisserie chicken, Ridings Reserve British beef or mushroom, red lentil, stilton and chestnut roast with a whole host of sides from £10.95. Liverpool ONE serves up another treat in the shape of the Sunday Roast offering from Browns, Paradise St. From just £12.95 you can indulge in a veggie nut roast with butternut squash puree and cherry jus or half roast chicken, salted belly pork or sirloin of beef with loads of trimmings. Queen Square eatery, Courtyard Bar & Kitchen offers two courses for £16 or three for £20 and the menu looks fantastic. Ma Boyle’s has turned this traditional dish on its head with their Sunday Roast Fondue option. Don’t swill your plate with gravy, dip your chicken or beef brisket, veg and Yorkshires into their red wine gravy instead and savour the moment! Traditional roasts are also available. Everyone’s favourite wine spot on Lark Lane, Keith’s was recommended on Twitter for its great value Sunday Roast. Each week the Facebook page is updated with the meat of choice alongside a vegan and veggie option, ensuring everyone can enjoy their own take on a Sunday lunch. More info here.

One of the most beautiful dining rooms in the city, NYL Restaurant & Bar is the place to tuck into a great quality and value roast dinner. Available every Sunday from 12pm til 6pm, it’s just £10 for a Sunday roast and a drink. Red cabbage, big old Yorkshires, locally sourced ingredients and a fabulous setting, winner!
