The Rock Orchestra will bring its new arena show Arena of Fire to Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena this October.
With its legendary musical heritage and passionate live music scene, Liverpool provides the perfect backdrop for The Rock Orchestra’s arena-scale performance, with fans expected to travel from across Merseyside and the North West.
Introducing Arena of Fire, a powerful new arena-scale experience featuring explosive pyrotechnics, a full choir, electrifying performers and the thunderous energy of legendary rock and metal anthems reimagined for orchestra.

A powerful evolution of the ensemble’s acclaimed live shows, Arena of Fire transforms the arena stage into a high-impact experience.
Audiences can expect a two-hour performance where classical precision collides with the raw power of iconic rock and metal anthems. Brand-new arrangements and immersive stage production combine with dramatic lighting, fire and large-scale visuals to create a dark, cinematic world where symphonic power meets rock intensity.
From haunting strings that echo familiar choruses to the thunderous collision of orchestra, choir and rock energy on stage, the show delivers a bold reimagining of some of rock’s most legendary sounds. The music draws from The Rock Orchestra’s debut album Classics Vol.1, which smashed its way to #1 on the Official UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart in November 2025.
Audiences can expect dark, cinematic orchestral takes on iconic tracks including Zombie, Bring Me To Life, Nothing Else Matters and Paint It Black, alongside powerful reinterpretations of music from bands such as Motörhead, AC/DC, System of a Down, Linkin Park and Iron Maiden.

Nathan Reed, Creative Director and Producer, The Rock Orchestra, said:
“Arena of Fire is the most explosive version of The Rock Orchestra we’ve ever created. We’ve taken the scale and emotion of our orchestral arrangements and built a huge arena experience around them, with fire, pyrotechnics, incredible performers including The Fuel Girls, and a full choir driving the power of the music.”
The Rock Orchestra is a rotating collective of world-class musicians and vocalists who breathe new life into familiar favourites. With more than 400 shows across multiple continents and over half a million fans worldwide, the ensemble has built a reputation for blending orchestral performance with the power and energy of rock.
