Two breathtaking immersive art experiences are coming to Liverpool this summer, and tickets are now on general sale.
Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience and the UK premiere of Beyond Monet will take over Exhibition Centre Liverpool from Tuesday 15 July – Sunday 3 August, offering visitors a journey into the worlds of two of history’s most celebrated artists.
Beyond Van Gogh and Beyond Monet will be staged on different days throughout the three-week run at the landmark waterfront venue.
Both shows went on pre-sale on Valentine’s Day, and Liverpool has already shown lots of love for the artists’ stunning work with almost 5,000 entry tickets snapped up over the weekend.
There are a range of entry options including, new for 2025, special family ticket and ‘parent and child’ tickets which offer great savings on individual prices.
Produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience brings together more than 300 of the post-Impressionist icon’s paintings blended with cutting-edge technology and a specially curated musical soundtrack to tell the story of one of history’s most influential artists, with people able to wander through iconic works – including The Starry Night, Sunflowers and Terrace of a Café at Night – as they came alive around them.
The UK premiere in Liverpool last summer attracted 60,000 visitors. Meanwhile exciting new features for 2025 will to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience has been seen by thousands of people at venues across North America, and now it is coming to the UK, following in Beyond Van Gogh’s footsteps by being premiered in Liverpool.
In the immersive impressionist extravaganza, cutting-edge technology breathes new life into more than 400 of the legendary French painter’s artworks, taking visitors on a spectacular and unforgettable audio-visual journey through his captivating and colourful world.
Beyond Monet brings together some of the artist’s most famous canvases – including Poppies, Impression: Sunrise and his exquisite Water Lilies series – with lesser-known works which all swirl around the space, offering a fresh and exciting new look at much-loved masterpieces and a deeper connection with Monet, his subjects and his innovative technique.

Taking inspiration from Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris, the designated home of Monet’s works, visitors can freely roam the Infinity Room where they are transported inside the paintings themselves to the accompaniment of a moving original score.
While Van Gogh and Monet had different approaches to their artistic practice, during the last decades of the 19th Century they were also contemporaries and pairing them in two complementary experiences allows art lovers the chance to not only enjoy their work but also to consider it in a wider context.
And if both artists’ work is now well-known and widely celebrated, they were both pioneers in their time.
Art Historian Fanny Curtat, who acted as a consultant on both immersive shows, describes the artists “capturing a moment in time”, with Van Gogh “painting what he feels and what her perceives” and Monet “painting an atmosphere.”

Anna Parry, UK Business Development at Annerin Productions, said:
“I’m really excited to bring Beyond Van Gogh and Beyond Monet together in Liverpool this summer – and if the fantastic response since we announced the 2025 dates last week is anything to go by, it seems Liverpool art lovers are too.
“Timed entry tickets are already being snapped up for both experiences. It’s clear people can’t wait to immerse themselves in Monet’s exquisite impressionist world or to explore Van Gogh’s extraordinary catalogue of works, and I can promise visitors to Exhibition Centre Liverpool a truly memorable experience this summer.”
