TikTok has announced a performance that will see the return of Eurovision Legends including; Conchita Wurst, Ruslana, Charlotte Perrelli, and Katrina.

TikTok has revealed the exciting news that the Eurovision Legends Performance is set to make a comeback at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. This year’s performance will showcase four former winners, namely Conchita Wurst, Ruslana, Charlotte Perrelli, and Katrina, who will take the stage on Friday 12 May in the Official Fan-zone on the Pier Head.

The event will be hosted by renowned TikTok creator @CocoSarel and electronic DJ, broadcaster, and presenter Arielle Free.

Conchita Wurst, who rose to international fame after winning the the Song Contest 2014 with the song ‘Rise Like a Phoenix’, will be the highlight of the Eurovision Legends Performance. Known as the “undisputed Queen of Eurovision,” Conchita’s return is expected to generate a lot of excitement.

Another iconic winner, Ruslana, who became Ukraine’s first winner in 2004 with her song ‘Wild Dances,’ will also make a special appearance at the Legends Performance. The song received a record number of 280 points at the time and topped the European charts for 97 weeks after the contest. Following her victory, Ruslana became one of the biggest pop stars from the Eastern part of Europe.

Charlotte Perrelli, the popular legend from Sweden, won the 1999 Contest with her song ‘Take Me To Your Heaven.’ She represented Sweden again in the 2008 Contest and made it to the finals with the song ‘Hero.’ Charlotte has been awarded a Grammis (Swedish Grammy) and has toured across Europe, Asia, New Zealand, and Australia.

Katrina, formerly of Katrina and the Waves, one of the most successful acts to perform in the Eurovision Song Contest, will also grace the stage. The band achieved victory at the Contest in 1997 with their song ‘Love Shine A Light,’ the UK’s first win since Bucks Fizz in 1981. The song peaked at number 3 in the UK and became a hit across Europe. Katrina is sure to get the Official Fanzone walking on sunshine!

Overall, the return of the Eurovision Legends Performance promises to be a memorable event for Eurovision fans, and with these four former winners set to perform, it’s not one to be missed.
