General Manager of Radisson RED Liverpool gives u a cribs style tour of the stunning new hotel
Radisson RED is now open on Lime Street, taking residence in the former North Western Hall
There aren’t many hotels that make you want to linger in the lobby…
But before you even think about heading to your room in the super-stylish new Radisson RED Liverpool hotel, there’s plenty to press the pause button for – and even more to make you stop and stare once you get inside.
The Radisson RED in Lime Street is Liverpool’s newest hotel which has seen the former North Western Hall spectacularly transformed.
It’s created an amazing tribute to the city and its heritage, while creating a go-to venue for anyone wanting to stay, or just dine and drink in the most incredible surroundings.
General manager Gary Waring says:
“It’s a Grade II listed building and we’ve kept all the original features and put the Radisson RED twist on things. It’s full of artwork: locally-inspired artwork, Radisson artwork, and it’s 100% stunning.”
The impressive lobby includes a statement motorbike and Union-Jack painted sidecar, a copy of the famous Beatles’ Abbey Road print, a ‘RED’ submarine, and a Cavern Club neon sign, all sitting alongside period features like the luxurious marble pillars, wooden parquet flooring, Minton tiles and exquisite ironwork of the original transport hotel neighbouring Lime Street Station.
“Best in the city without a doubt,” smiles Gary.
And it only gets more impressive the further you venture within.
As well as a fitness centre and a conference suite – complete with everything you need for a creative and productive meeting including breakout areas, easy-to-use screen connectivity, flip charts and projectors – Radisson RED Liverpool boasts:
Stoke Restaurant and Bar
The modern barbecue-style grill restaurant specialises in local, organic, seasonal dishes and small plates. With farm-to-table and vegetarian favourites, and sustainable seafood, each meal at Stoke is consciously planned with the best practices.
But it’s not just about the food. It’s about the art that surrounds you, and the music and entertainment, with live music and DJs each Friday and Saturday evening, as well as a more relaxing vibe to entertain guests enjoying the Radisson RED’s superb Sunday lunches.
And while you discover the buzzing social scene and taste some of Liverpool’s best local flavours, you can raise a glass to perfection with a craft beer, a wine, or an expertly-mixed seasonal cocktail.
Suite life
If you want a city stop in style, Radisson RED Liverpool has two superb and spacious suites with views of St George’s Hall. A stay in Liverpool doesn’t get much better than this with a sophisticated bedroom area, a cosy ‘feel-at-home’ living area, and a glass-walled en-suite with an uber-chic freestanding bath.
