We chat to the Star of ‘My Psychic Life’ International Medium, Lilly-Anne ahead of Halloween

So far this Halloween we’ve brought you the best of the family-friendly events, some seriously frightening after dark events, zombie invasions, gruesome ghost stories and a whole menu of creepy cocktails to try out.
But what could be more chilling than delving into the spirit world for real?
Liverpool is a psychic hot spot and we mean spiritually gifted people who you only hear of from word of mouth. They don’t need to advertise their gift and some have waiting lists spanning weeks, especially around Halloween when it’s said the veil separating the next world from ours, is at its thinnest.
We’re fascinated by those who can connect with the spirit world here at The Guide Liverpool and we were granted an interview with internationally recognised psychic, medium & Clairvoyant, Lilly Anne of Channel 4’s ‘My Psychic Life’ to talk about her career, life and real life spooky experiences.
Notepad at the ready, here’s how our chat went with Lill-Anne.
When did you realise you were psychic and how?
LA: I was about five years old when I had spirits at the bottom of my bed speaking to me.
That must have been so creepy!
LA: No it wasn’t, I called them star people because I knew they weren’t the same as humans. I asked them who they were and they said star people.
Did you you see them all the time?
LA: All my life. All my life they’ve been around me,
Why did you decided to use your gift to help people?
LA: I always call it a deal with the spirit not a gift, because some of the horrors I’ve seen with spirits.
They [the spirits] asked if I would work with them as I got older, and I said yes but I will always be in charge. And when and if I decide to not continue working with the spirits, that will be it, they’ll go and they more or less agreed to that. They’ll always be here to support me forever but you know, always be here for me to support other people for along as I like, sort of thing, if that makes sense.
Have you ever faced prejudice?
LA: No not really, the majority of people actually respect what I do. On my Facebook page last night, we reached 300,000 fans as well! There’s quite a lot of respect out there for me I think.
What’s your spookiest experience?
LA:Â My most spooky/scary is when two ladies came for a reading from me, a mother and her daughter and there was like a black energy entity attached to the mother. It turns out that what had happened is the daughter had played the Ouija board and hadn’t a clue what she was doing. The result was the black entity hanging over her mother.
That is so scary!
LA: Yeah it was spooky, they’d been really ill as well. I just got up straight away and brought the mother in and said this isn’t your average reading! I said it isn’t a possession but it’s more of an attachment. There’s something attached to you and it needs removing. I managed to do everything to remove it, it’s called the cleansing ritual.
Were you afraid that the black energy would attach to you?
LA: No, absolutely not because I am so well protected by my star people. The angelic realms, the spirt people. They would not dare try and drag it through to me.
