The Red Weekender, Exhibition Centre, 23-25 May

For the first time ever, three of the city’s most influential fan-led voices – BOSS, Redmen TV, and The Anfield Wrap – will come together under one roof to exclusively present their End of Season live shows.
Taking place across the final Premier League weekend of the season (Liverpool v Crystal Palace), The Red Weekender will feature a packed schedule of live shows, music performances, family events, and appearances from some of the biggest names in football and Liverpool culture.
BBC Radio One Big Weekend

This is going to be a massive event in the city as some of the biggest names in music arrive in Liverpool for BBC Radio One’s Big Weekend. Sam Fender, Tom Grennan, Mumford & Sons, Jade, Jorja Smith and The Wombats are all part of the incredible line-up in Sefton Park from Friday to Sunday, May 23-25. It’s going to be amazing!

Cunard’s Queen Anne returns

The big ships always catch a crowd, and they don’t come much bigger or more majestic than Cunard’s newest vessel, Queen Anne. She’s heading back to the Mersey for the first time since her official naming ceremony last year on Bank Holiday Monday.

Salt & Tar Fringe

It’s all going on at Salt & Tar’s Fringe Festival, from live comedy to family raves and wellness workshops to beer school, cracking comedy and loads more. It’s free entry into the festival village at the canalside venue in Bootle from Friday to Monday, May 23-26, and every one of the four days is jam-packed with events and activities, ‘good food, good drinks and good vibes’.

LFC Victory Parade

After a weekend where the city turned blue as Everton said a historic goodbye to Goodison Park, the air is set to go red, as Liverpool celebrate their 20th Premier League win on Bank Holiday Monday. The victory parade will see the Reds tour the city in an open top bus, starting off at Allerton Maze and ending at Blundell Street in the city centre, with cheers from hundreds of thousands of fans along the way.

Picture You Dead – Floral Pavilion

If you’re a thriller fan, you’ll love this stage version of Peter James’ classic novel as the world premiere tour arrives in New Brighton. Strictly star Ore Oduba makes his debut performance at the Floral on Tuesday, joining Emmerdale’s Fiona Wade and Casualty’s George Rainsford as James’ famous DSI Grace investigates a cold case involving a potentially priceless masterpiece discovered at a car boot sale. It’s on until Saturday, May 24.

Pint of Science Festival at Frederiks

Frederiks is just one of the city pubs and bars serving up science along with your favourite tipple from today until Wednesday. Pint of Science is an annual worldwide science festival which brings researchers to your local pub or cafe to share their discoveries with you – at Frederiks topics are Black Holes, Solar Sparks and Fuelling the Future; Science, Culture & Society, and Talk Nerdy to Me (AI Edition).
