July is here and we’ve got the very best of what on this week in Liverpool.
Summer vibes have officially kicked in and with the warm weather set to last, we’ve lined up the best of what’s on this week in Liverpool. Lots of summer menus have launched, filled with lite bites and brand new fruity cocktails. We’ve got more summer garden parties than you can shake an inflatable flamingo at, so get your factor 30 on and delve in.

Monday 1st July
Hearty Breakfast, Thoughtfully Café
If like us you’re starting Monday fresh, with good intentions, get yourself over to Cleveland Square. Thoughtfully CafĂ© serves up amazing soul nourishing bowls filled with fruit and granola. Or if you need a bit of a carb hit, get on those eggs and mushrooms! Menus and more here.Â
Spiderman Marvel Quiz, Birdies Bar & BBQ
Just in time for the Spider-man: Far from home Birdies Live is hosting a Marvel Quiz that’ll get your Spider-Senses tingling! Teaming up with Sphinx Quiz Nights, you’re in for a hulk of a time. Doors at 6pm, quiz starts at 8pm. Book here.Â
Club Tropicana, Liverpool Empire
The electric 80’s make a comeback at the Liverpool Empire this week as Club Tropicana comes to town. Former X Factor winner Joe McElderry, Sugababe Amelle Berrabah and EastEnders Neil McDermott star in this throw back version of Love Island. Expect an AMAZING soundtrack and feel good storyline. Lunch on the Dock, Rough Hand Made
The good weather is set to stay this week so why not take a wander to the Royal Albert Dock for lunch? Peaky Blinders Cinema
Every Tuesday evening from 8pm there’s free entry into Peaky Blinders Bar at Cain’s Brewery Cinema. They’re showing two episodes of the hit show on the run up to the premier of season 5. Free popcorn, tarot card reading, actors and themed cocktails too. More info here.Â
Lost Soul 2, Royal Court Theatre

Merseyrail Ladies FC Trials, Admiral Park
As the Vitality Netball World Cup opening ceremony draws closer, women’s sport in Liverpool takes its place in the limelight. Merseyrail Ladies FC, based at Admiral Park is preparing for the new season with open trails on Wednesday night from 6pm. A fab bunch of women and girls who have a good laugh while keeping fit! Gladys Knight, M&S Bank Arena
Hop on the Midnight Train To Georgia – or the M&S Bank Arena on Wednesday night as the Empress of Soul, Gladys Knight performs her huge back catalogue of hits for one night only. Hear tracks from her latest, critically acclaimed album ‘Where My Heart Belongs’ and belters such as ‘Help Me Make It Through The Night’. Some tickets available here.Â

Keith Haring, Tate Liverpool
Tate Liverpool was packed with visitors at the weekend and it’s no surprise! The Keith Haring Exhibition is just superb and on two visits, we’ve noticed more and more interesting things in his art work. Throwback to 1980’s East Village NYC and learn how one man captured and influenced the look and feel of a decade stateside. More here.Â

Liverpool Fleadh Irish Festival, Grand Central
Liverpool Fleadh Irish Festival takes place on Saturday and promises to offer something for all Irish music lovers. Starting with a BBQ from 11am in the Roscoe Gardens, at the rear of the Grand Central Dome (Mount Pleasant). The festival will then carry on the craic with live performances from Nathan Carter, Aslan, The Fureys and more. Full line up here.Â
Black Lodge Brewery Street Party
Join Honest Burgers in their Field Kitchen at Black Lodge Brewery Taproom, Kings Dock Street on Saturday for a burgers and beers street party.
