It’s all eyes on Liverpool as international women’s sport steps into the spotlight.
This week is Liverpool is a biggie. Alongside the usual line up of top class restaurants and bars, the M&S Bank Arena and Liverpool ONE prepare to host the 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup. With more than 100,000 tickets sold and teams jetting in from as far away as New Zealand, the city is about to get very busy.

American Idiot, Playhouse Theatre
Green Day’s explosive rock musical, American Idiot comes to the Liverpool Playhouse Theatre for three nights this week to mark the show’s 10th anniversary and the 15th anniversary of the Grammy Award winning original album. Tickets here.

Just days before its all eyes on Liverpool for the 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup, there’s a brand new play opening at the Royal Court. Bouncing Back’ follows a group of women returners to the game of Netball, and their trials and tribulations. Will the team get fitter? Will they ever win a game? Will the coach ever find true love?

The Vitality Netball World Cup 2019
It’s time to make your move! The countdown to the highly anticipated 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup in Liverpool is over. 16 international teams are ready to battle it out over an 11 day competition at the M&S Bank Arena to be crowned world champions.
