Definitely one to keep you on the edge of your seat as the Young Everyman Playhouse invites you to this radically reimagined classic by Evan Placey. Moulin Rouge! The Musical at Liverpool Empire

The Olivier and Tony award-winning stage version of Baz Luhrmann’s hit musical film is coming to Lime Street from this Thursday until Saturday, August 8. Set in Paris, 1899, it’s the story of a lovesick American writer and the dazzling star of the Moulin Rouge nightclub who fall in love only to have their passions thwarted. Liverpool Art Fair is back at the Royal Liver Building, showcasing a record 245 local artists from now until July 26. It’s free to go in and as well as viewing amazing pieces, you get the chance to own an original work of art for as little as £25 and take part in creative workshops. Moiim’s a great place to pop in and grab a takeaway and there are some seats if you fancy dining out on the full experience while listening to their Korean music.
