What’s on this weekend in Liverpool?

The summer has arrived and it’s weekend on in Liverpool.

It’s payday weekend, it’s Armed Forces Day and we’re loving the look of the weather forecast too. If you’re trying to shake off the Glastonbury blues, planning a family day out, hitting the cocktails or simply making stories for Monday, we’ve got you sorted.

To Rock Out – The Eagles, M&S Bank Arena

Legendary American rockers, The Eagles bring their greatest hits to the M&S Bank Arena on Sunday. You can expect the iconic tracks such as Hotel California, Desperado and Life In The Fast Lane – and we reckon you’ll be surprised just how many lyrics you know! Some tickets available here.

There’s a new kid on the block in Woolton Village. Nowhere is serving up top brekkie and brunch dishes and cocktails, plus there’s fab live music and a really chilled out vibe. Stop in this weekend and check it out. Ps – the Nutella, banana and toasted coconut brunch dish is amazing! More here.

Tomorrow, tomorrow! Get yourself down to the Liverpool Empire this weekend for your last chance to see Annie with non other than Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood as Miss Hannigan. He was stopped soaking up the scouse atmosphere at Ma Egerton’s last night. Our Josh loved it. Tickets here. 

To Beat The Glasto Blues, Hope & Anchor

Fewming about not being at Glasto? Fear not. The Hope & Anchor, Maryland street is hosting a weekend long party where you can watch the live feed on the big screens. Wellies, tents, eats, drinks, boss atmosphere and mass sing alongs guaranteed. Find out more here. 

For all the Ibiza Beach Party Vibes, The Yacht Club

Royal Albert Dock is to host a huge celebration of our Armed Forces personnel and Veterans on Saturday. See the annual parade on The Strand and then take part in lots of free, family friendly activities at the dock from 12pm.
