It’ll soon be out with 2022 and in with 2023 and that means one of the biggest parties of the party season – New Year’s Eve.
Whether you fancy keeping it more low key with a meal or bringing it in with a massive night out, there’s lots going on in Liverpool and still tickets up for grabs.

MODO Neon Ball
MODO has been lighting up Concert Square with its Electric Wonderland and NYE promises to be a dazzling closing party with DJs Mick McGraw and Les Calvert. You can even private hire the entire covered roof terrace for your party of up to 50 including a huge drinks package.
LuBan, Cains Brewery Village
Lu Ban in Cains Brewery Village will be open from 3pm until 11pm on New Year’s Eve where guests will be able to enjoy Lu Ban Drappier Champagne served with a selection of snacks, followed by a sensational 7 course banquet.
The New Year’s Even menu at the award winning restaurant is £99 per person and includes all of the Lu Ban favourites starting with the ‘Great British Oyster’ from Executive Chef Dave Critchley’s Great British Menu.
2023 is the Chinese year of the Rabbit and the carefully selected banquet choices are oozing with sensational flavours to tempt the taste buds of the most discerning palettes.
Alpine Village at PINS Social Club
New Year’s Eve is the last night of the Alpine Village at PINS so you can see in 2023 in the rooftop lodge with a food feast, DJs from 7pm til 1am and a guest band. In the main bar and first floor it’s Rockin’ Eve and games will be free all night to round off the year nicely. There’ll also be a roaming brass band and DJs.
Gaucho
The steaks and the venue make Gaucho one of the most impressive additions to Liverpool this year, and on NYE it’s going to be even more special. It’s open all day for diners and drinkers until 2am, plus there’ll be live music and performers and DJs making for a delicious, very glamorous start to the year.
Roxy Ball Room
Roxy’s got its festive feasts running right up to New Year’s Eve so if you’re out celebrating with a group of mates there’s no more fun way to kick off 2023 than by getting all competitive with a night of ball games and drinks including a big new cocktail menu.
Royal Institution
Royal Institution on Colquitt Street is an absolutely stunning place and it’s got a big night lined-up for NYE – there’ll be jazz and live entertainment on from 8pm til late and a glass of champagne on arrival to get the party off to a sparkling start. Doors open 6pm, early bird tickets from £20.
Seel St Venue
Seel St Venue is a great new cocktail bar in the Ropewalks area which has lots of different theme nights and it’s celebrating its first party season with a NYE RnB party, packed with floor-filling tunes. Tickets are £10 which includes a glass of prosecco when you arrive.
Camp and Furnace – LOST New Year’s Eve Carnival
LOST are back and taking over the whole of Camp and Furnace on the 31st for their biggest NYE celebration to date. There’ll be two rooms of music – one house, one hip-hop/DnB – circus performers, confetti and glitter from 9pm til 4am.
Co.Co on Castle Street
A new day-to-evening cocktail bar that’s already got lots of fans, Co.co on Castle Street has glamorous plans for NYE which include a champagne reception and entertainment, plus a £20pp bar spend, and table service all in a £40 ticket price. 7pm start, entertainment from 8pm.
Punch Tarmey’s, ArCains and Cains – Access All Areas
Why stick with just one venue for your NYE night out when you could get four? You can get Access All Areas, which gives entry to four Cains Brewery Village bars under one roof – Punch Tarmey’s, where there’s an In Demand Radio takeover, ArCains for arcade gaming all night, plus beers and live music in Cains Brewery and The Courtyard – all for £10 a ticket.
Oh Me Oh My
The beautiful Oh Me Oh My opposite the Liver Building is bringing in 2023 with Darling, It Wouldn’t Be A Party Without You, featuring a live band, confetti canons and cocktails til 1am. The stunning rooftop hideaway Goodness Gracious will also be open until 12.15am for anyone wanting to see in the New Year under the stars. Tickets are £20.
Jimmy’s – Zu Year’s Eve
Live music fans should get Jimmy’s opposite the Bombed Out Church on their list for NYE because it’s got a Zu Year’s Eve gig with fabulous Liverpool singer Zuzu, plus San Lorenz, Torture & The Desert Spiders, The DSM IV, Split and Cow. 6pm to 2am, tickets £22.50.
Albert Schloss – The Zero Hour
Count down to midnight in Albert Schloss style with a pink-themed The Zero Hour party including cabaret, Baby Grand Slam and Haus band performances. Expect all kinds of mayhem and magnficent showtime. Tickets include an arrival glass of prosecco, canapés and midnight schnapps.
Tonight Josephine – Glitterbomb Party
Get your gal squad and head to Tonight Josephine on Hanover Street for a full-on sparkling NYE extravaganza including a glitter martini on arrival then a night of revelry with a DJ and cabaret drag host, lip synch battles and group karaoke. Tickets £25.
Zenn Liverpool – NYE Masquerade with Julie McKnight
Up at Zenn Bar & Restaurant on Victoria Street there’s an fantastic live PA to say goodbye to 2022 with a live post-dinner performance from the legendary Julie McKnight singing massive tunes like Finally, Diamond Life and Home, plus DJs.
Jaloux – Masquerade Ball
Jaloux on Victoria Street is already one of the prettiest places in Liverpool for a party night out and on NYE it’ll be hosting a Masquerade Ball which it’s promising will be full of mystery and imagination! It’s on from 9pm until 4am.
The Merchant – NYE Greg Wilson
Nights at The Merchant with DJ Greg Wilson bossing the decks are always something special, so if you love quality tunes, soul, funk, disco, party hip-hop, dance and electro-funk, this is the one to get 2023 off to an amazing start. 8pm to 3am.
