Modo in Concert Square has been transformed into an Electric Wonderland

Advertorial

Modo in Concert Square’s all about partying big, and in the run-up to Christmas and New Year it’s full-on lit with a dazzling neon light show and a neon grotto that’s a festive treat for good – and not-so-good – girls and boys.

The club’s been transformed into an Electric Wonderland, to add a bit of extra Modo-style magic to the season.

It’s all decked out in sparkling LED displays and even the runway dancers and performers have been wrapped in lights.

Modo’s created the ultimate winter party experience this year with indoor snow storms, Christmas cocktails and screenings of some Christmas movie crackers.

Upstairs at Paradiso, there’s a whole programme of big screen festive favourites going on every Wednesday and Sunday coming up to the big day – just grab a drink and a booth or a table and watch for free.

On December 11 it’s Die Hard, December 14 is Bad Santa, December 18 is Love Actually, and the last one is Deck The Halls on December 21. The films all start at 8pm and they’re open for walk-ins, so there’s no need to book.

Modo

When the upstairs screens haven’t got Christmassy classics on, there’s another big event happening this month and Modo’s got that covered too.

It’s showing every one of the World Cup games leading up to the final on Sunday December 18 plus there are World Cup drinks packages, including four-pint beer pitchers for £10, to help steady everyone’s nerves while the Three Lions try to bring it home.

And Paradiso really is the gift that keeps on giving this party season because it’s got a brand new night on too – Baa Bar resident DJ Mark Hibbert is on the decks and under the glitterball for Groovy Disco Balls, every Friday night into 2023, banging out some massive disco and house tunes from 10pm til late. Entry’s free and there’ll be some amazing drinks deals on all night once you tear yourself off the dancefloor.

Electric Wonderland is taking over Modo every Friday and Saturday up until December 31 when it goes out with the biggest brightest party night of the year on New Year’s Eve.

The New Year’s Eve Neon Ball is going to be something absolutely spectacular, and there’s a chance to make it even better by hiring the covered roof terrace just for you and all your mates, or one huge family group.

Modo is offering an exclusive hire of the terrace, which can hold up to 50 seated and standing, for £1,500. In return you don’t just have your own incredible space to see in 2023, you get a huge drinks package with two magnums of vodka, 6 pitchers of mixer for the vodka, 10 cans of Red Bull, 4 bottles of rose prosecco, 50 cans of lager, two tequila rose bottles, two bottles of Laurent Perrier Rose champagne and two bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne.

If that doesn’t sound like the Happiest of Happy New Years then we don’t know what does!
