As the May half-term approaches, Southport is preparing to welcome families, visitors, and residents alike with a wide-ranging selection of activities and attractions designed to entertain all ages—while highlighting the natural beauty, culture, and hospitality of the town and surrounding Sefton coast.
Spanning 22 miles, the Southport and Sefton coastline offers an abundance of outdoor experiences—from scenic walking and cycling trails to the striking art installation of 100 life-sized iron statues at Crosby Beach. Visitors can also enjoy kite surfing in Ainsdale, red squirrel spotting among tranquil pine woods, sand dune exploration, and even the chance to discover prehistoric footprints.
To support families seeking memorable and affordable half-term outings, Visit Southport has curated a list of events and attractions running from Monday 24 May to Sunday 1 June.
