Celebrate Christmas with a modern Indian twist at Delhi House in Royal Albert Dock

Delhi House, Liverpool’s newest Indian restaurant at the iconic Royal Albert Dock, is gearing up for its first Christmas by offering a festive menu packed with bold and authentic flavours.
Already a favourite in Manchester since opening in 2020, Delhi House has brought its modern Indian dining experience to Liverpool, and it’s quickly become a hotspot, with bookings filling up fast since its opening.
Delhi House’s festive menu will see guests enjoying a glass of fizz on arrival before tucking into appetisers of Palak Patta Chaat, a vegan dish with battered spinach leaves, mint, tamarind and yogurt, Vegetable Samosa Chaat, another vegan dish of Punjabi filo pastry, chickpea curry, mint, tamarind and yogurt.
Starters include Malai Chicken Tikka, in a mile creamy garlic marination, clay oven roasted with mint chutney and the beautifully cooked Tandoori Lamb Chops with gunpowder spice and beetroot chutney.
Or vegetarian options include Herbs Malai Cheap; a spiced soya kebab marinated in fresh cream and herbs with mint chutney and Classic Paneer Tikka; Achari marinated paneer, onions, bell peppers and mint chutney.
For the main event, diners will enjoy Mom’s Buttered Chicken Tikka Masala, served with buttered naan and Moradabadi Chicken Biryani served with vegetable Raita. There’s also Buttered Paneer Tikka Masala served with buttered naan and Vegetable Biryani served with vegetable raita.
Both the classic and vegetarian menus are £33.95pp based on two sharing, and are available to book throughout November and December.
With space for 120 diners, Delhi House offers both ground floor seating where guests can marvel at the open kitchen where the talented chefs create each and every dish as well as cooking fresh naan breads that are made to order using the authentic tandoor oven.
Renowned for its modern Indian dining experience, Delhi House will offer guests something different during the festive season, where they can swap cranberry sauce and Brussels sprouts for dishes that are popping with authentic Indian flavours.
