Ambassador Cruise Line kicks off third season of sailings from Liverpool Cruise Port

Ambassador Cruise Line is back in Liverpool for a third year running, with even more sailings on offer for North-West travellers.

Following a strong response from Merseyside guests last year, the UK’s affordable-quality, no-fly cruise line has increased its number of Liverpool departures from six in 2024 to nine in 2025. More than 9,000 passengers are expected to sail aboard Ambition, the cruise line’s second ship, this year.

The first departure of the season sets sail in April with the 12-night Pilgrimage and Pinot: Brittany, Compostela & Bordeaux itinerary, calling at ports including Belfast, Lorient, El Ferrol and Gijon – perfect for travellers looking for a mix of history, culture and coastal charm.

The season is split across spring and autumn, with five cruises departing between now and the end of May, and four more setting off between mid-September and late October.

If you are new to cruising, you can dip your toe in with a short break on the 2-night Liverpool Mini Cruise, setting sail on 28 May from just £149pp. The mini cruise includes travel from Liverpool to Bristol, with pre-and-post cruise coach travel included, making it an ideal intro to life at sea with Ambassador.
