Everton stars bring smiles to Claire House with special Easter visit
4 hours ago

Two of Everton’s first-team players made a heartwarming visit to Claire House Children’s Hospice this Easter.
Jake O’Brien and Armando Broja took time out of their schedules to visit the hospice’s Liverpool site in West Derby, where they met with some of the babies, children and young adults who rely on Claire House’s vital care and support.
The players handed out Easter gifts and spent time chatting with families, learning more about the incredible work the hospice does for seriously and terminally ill children across Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales.

Defender Jake O’Brien said:
“It’s important that, as footballers, we’re out in the community and helping to put smiles on people’s faces. It was great to meet the children and their families – being able to make them happy, even just for a moment, meant a lot to us.”
The pair were more than happy to pose for photos and sign autographs for some very excited young Evertonians – creating unforgettable memories for the children and their loved ones.
Striker Armando Broja added:
“Seeing everyone come together and spread positivity is what this club is all about. It felt amazing to meet the families and bring a bit of joy into their day.”
Joanne Cook, Play & Activities Coordinator at Claire House, said:
“The visit was such a highlight. The children and young people were absolutely thrilled to meet the players – it gave them a real boost and it’s those moments that create lasting memories.”

Claire House works around the clock to support families during the most difficult times, helping children live life to the full, no matter how short it may be. The visit from Everton FC was a powerful reminder of the difference kindness and connection can make.
