Everton promises seamless connectivity at new Hill Dickinson Stadium
2 hours ago

Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium is set to become one of the most connected sports venues in the country, thanks to a major investment in next-level WiFi and mobile signal technology.
The Club has teamed up with HPE Aruba to deliver a state-of-the-art digital experience for fans at Hill Dickinson, ensuring excellent mobile signal and easy access to free WiFi throughout the stadium site.

Visitors will be able to connect to a free WiFi network named ‘Everton Free Wifi’, available in the concourses, official Club store, premium lounges and seating areas. Alongside that, a new Distributed Antenna System (DAS) has been installed to give fans uninterrupted mobile signal, regardless of their network provider.
The DAS system works across EE, O2 and Vodafone, and supports both 4G and 5G connections. It’s been designed to boost signal strength across the entire stadium, including high-traffic areas like the Fan Plaza and Western Wharf, where network dropouts can often be an issue during big events.
Both the WiFi and DAS will go live for the first time during Everton’s pre-season friendly against AS Roma, with a full-capacity crowd of 52,769 expected. Engineers will be on-site to monitor performance and fine-tune the system ahead of the full rollout for the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Phil Davies, Director of Technology at Everton, said:
“We know how important staying connected is on matchday. At Goodison and many other large stadiums, fans often struggle with signal loss – especially when it matters most.
“Our aim at Hill Dickinson Stadium is to eliminate that problem completely. We’ve invested heavily to make sure our new home is one of the best connected in the country.”
The improved connectivity will make it easier for fans to use digital tickets, access live updates through the Everton App, grab real-time offers and use mobile ordering and other services with less waiting around.

The message from the Club is clear – Hill Dickinson Stadium is about more than just football. It’s about giving supporters the best possible experience from the moment they arrive.
Fans can download the Everton App now to make the most of the new matchday features at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
