MSB Solicitors is proud to announce that 27 members of its team have been listed as recommended lawyers, and five areas of the firm’s practice have been recognised, in the 2026 Legal500.
The firm’s crime and family teams appear in tier 1 of the list, while its social housing, commercial litigation and commercial property teams are ranked between tiers 2 and 4.
Andrew Pearson, Sean Sexton and partner and head of the firm’s family division, Dr Emma Palmer, have been named as Leading Individuals.
Meanwhile, partner and head of social housing and regeneration, Louise Murphy, and partner and head of built environment and compliance, Andrew Fairman, have been named as Next Generation Partners.
Head of housing management Amy Tagoe and partner in the firm’s family division, Katie Comozzi, have been listed as Leading Associates.
In the firm’s crime division, Michael McKeown, Alison Sharples and John Davies have been recognised as recommended lawyers, as have Nicola Harris, Emma Carey, Hayley Catherall, Pippa Tudor, John Owens, Daniel Pierce, Nicole Ralston, Diane Matthews and Susan Alexander in MSB’s family division.
In commercial litigation, Jonathan Alderton, David Tarttelin and John McCreaney have been afforded the same recognition, along with Melissa Bosoboe, Helen Schofield, Tom Mealand and Sarah Coakley in commercial property. Beth Hyams in MSB’s social housing division completes the firm’s impressive roster in the recommended lawyers list.
The recognition for the firm continues its growth trajectory following the opening of new office locations in Chester and Birmingham to go with relocation of its Manchester office to the historic Blackfriars House.
MSB Solicitors’ managing partner Emma Carey said:
“The recognition of our team is testament to all their hard work in ensuring we make justice available for everyone, regardless of their status in society.
“We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and it is fantastic to see the people at the heart of the work we do, such as free initial pro bono advice to transgender and LGBTQ+ people and a free multi-lingual family law clinic for refugees, being recognised by the industry,”
