Everton FC unveil winter transformation of the Budweiser Fan Plaza
45 minutes ago
Everton supporters heading to Hill Dickinson Stadium for Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Newcastle United (5:30pm kick-off) will notice a refreshed look and feel to the Budweiser Fan Plaza, as the space evolves for its first winter season.
As part of our ongoing work to enhance the Everton matchday experience – and guided by invaluable survey feedback from fans – the Plaza now includes an increased number of food and drink outlets, expanded bar areas and new festive touches.
New hot food options from some recognised local vendors, not available inside the stadium, will be introduced for the winter period, with crepes, Greek gyros, gourmet toasties and traditional fish and chips all joining the line-up.
Additional E-Bars have been introduced to help speed up service, while Club partners Red Bull and Nemiroff will be operating new drinks units in the north section of the Plaza. Club View members can continue to use their match credit at The Taste Wagon and the Budweiser Bar, as well as the kiosks located within their private concourse.
The evolving offer outside is complemented by a refreshed winter menu inside Hill Dickinson Stadium, with new festive dishes now available across the concourses throughout December and early January.
To celebrate our first Christmas at Hill Dickinson Stadium, a festive tree has been installed next to the historic Hydraulic Tower and can be seen from across the plaza. A live DJ will also provide the pre-match soundtrack, creating a warm, seasonal and lively build-up to kick-off.
As part of these winter changes, the external stage and big screen have now made way for the expanded food and drink offering, with the BBC’s Giulia Bould moving to the Club View concourse to host pre-match entertainment, including former player interviews.
Additional entertainment will also be available inside Hill Dickinson Stadium via two of the largest screens in the Premier League, which will show live interactive content from 3:30pm.
The Budweiser Plaza will open at 2.30pm on Saturday and will remain open after the final whistle for supporters who wish to continue their matchday experience.
