Southport set for huge St Patrick’s Day Shindig at Victoria Park
3 hours ago
Southport is gearing up for what promises to be its biggest St Patrick’s Day party yet.
A brand new event is heading to Victoria Park on Saturday 21 March 2026, with organisers promising a full-scale celebration of Irish music, culture and craic.
The St Patrick’s Day Shindig Party, hosted by Elite Event Group, will transform the park into a festival-style beer hall complete with a huge heated and seated marquee just a short walk from the town centre.
At the heart of the event will be live entertainment, including a high-energy band performing Irish favourites and crowd-pleasing anthems, alongside DJs, roaming entertainers and a packed schedule of competitions, giveaways and prizes throughout the day.
Official drinks partner Guinness will be keeping the stout flowing, adding an authentic touch to the celebrations.

Elite Event Group CEO Mark Dilley said the event follows the success of their Oktoberfest at the same venue last year and promised a proper St Patrick’s party atmosphere.
He said guests can expect superb live entertainment, great food, a lively host and plenty of surprises across both sessions.
With demand already building, organisers are encouraging people to gather their friends, dress in green and get ready for a brand new addition to Southport’s events calendar.
