Thornton Hough Comedy Club returns with another huge line up this April.
The pro night of comedy put on by DBN Events at Thornton Hough Village Club – will not only feature four comedians from the UK circuit, but those attending will get an edible warm-up in the shape of a delicious pie.
Organisers are expecting another full house as the night will be headlined by the amazing Steve Gribbin who has notched up well over 8,000 gigs on the UK and international live comedy circuit
The scathingly satirical Scouse song-thrush is renowned for his skilful skewering of topical idiocies which has made him one of the most in-demand acts on the British and worldwide comedy circuit. Steve specialises in musical topical comedy, the more biting and bitter, the better.
Support from Josh Sedman whose awards include Cat ‘n Stick New Comedian of The Year 2023.
The show will be hosted by quick-fire gag merchant Ben Turner, a World One Liner Championship and Comedy Cellar Yorkshire New Act of the Year finalist.
The comedy nights at Thornton Hough Village Club & Bar are the brainchild of actor and Wirral resident Dean Boodaghians-Nolan.

Dean, whose credits include the TV series House of the Dragon, said:
“The calibre of acts we are attracting from the UK comedy scene to our lovely, intimate venue is mind-blowing and we are hopeful of another full house this Friday. We have released some extra special £10 early bird tickets as the others were snapped up so quickly – it should be a great night.”
Other tickets including entry and a yummy pie (including veggie option) cost just £15 + booking fee. Normal priced tickets without the food are just £12 +BF.
