Liverpool’s newest hotspot is bringing beach club vibes to the city

DeLuca’s has launched Sun Club, a brand new summer experience designed to recreate the feeling of spending the day at a luxury beach club, all without leaving Liverpool.

Inspired by stylish hotel terraces, 80s American holiday culture and lazy afternoons in the sunshine, DeLuca’s Sun Club transforms the venue into a city centre resort where guests are encouraged to arrive early, settle in and stay all day.

As the day unfolds, the atmosphere builds with Sun Club Radio playing sunshine inspired soundtracks, resort style updates and weather reports throughout the venue, while DeLuca’s cabana boys and girls keep frozen drinks topped up.

Rather than a traditional day party, Sun Club has been created as an immersive daytime experience where the atmosphere is just as important as what’s on the menu.

To mark the launch, DeLuca’s has introduced a selection of exclusive summer drinks and desserts. These include Pop Royales, made with Prosecco, fruit ice lollies and flavoured syrups, alongside Meltdowns, featuring soft serve ice cream topped with a choice of spirit or liqueur and finished with indulgent garnishes.

Guests can also enjoy cocktail sharers, the venue’s signature Hurricanes, resort style table service and surprise Sun Club Drops throughout the day, all inspired by the atmosphere of beach clubs in destinations such as Palm Springs.

Weekend visitors who arrive before 2pm can make the most of Early Check In, which includes the best seats in the venue, complimentary treats and exclusive Sun Club surprises across the afternoon.

Oliver Clarke, Managing Director at DeLuca’s, said: “We wanted to create the feeling of a summer holiday without booking a flight. Everyone knows that atmosphere around a hotel pool or beach club. It’s the music, frozen drinks, people watching and settling in for the day. Sun Club is our version of that. Plus it’s completely fictional, and that’s what makes it fun.”

Sun Club will run throughout the summer, giving people the chance to enjoy a spontaneous afternoon in the sunshine, an after work escape or a weekend get together without leaving the city.

Just don’t forget the Factor 50.
