14 places to recycle your real Christmas tree in Liverpool
7 years ago
Christmas tree, oh Christmas treeeeeee, its almost time to say goodbye!
We’ve lovingly adorned our Christmas trees with family mementoes, twinkly lights, baubles, chocolates, feathers and old school tinsel and they’ve stood proud in our homes and offices, symbolising festive cheer. But soon enough we’ll be looking to clear up and out for the New Year and those beautiful big branches aren’t meant to the wheelie bin!
As green waste disposal has been suspended during the winter period, until 25th February 2018, Liverpool City Council has now opened up 14 Christmas tree recycling points around the city, to help us all dispose of our real trees safely and in an environmentally friendly way. When do you take your tree down? Boxing Day? New Years Eve? Either way, from Anfield to Speke, there’s a handy drop off point awaiting your real tree, so we can start the New Year afresh.
Open until the end of January, you can drop your tree off in the following locations……
L4: Stanley Park car park
Â
L5: Everton Park, Viewing Platform, Netherfield Road North
