Day 2 of The Mowgli Dog Show has begun! 🐾
It`s not too late to head to Claremont Farm for a tail-wagging good time, the show is on until 6pm.

There`s something for everybody, great food, refreshing drinks, dog show entertainment and competitions, LJMU`s robot dog, craft stalls, live music and children`s activities and funfair attractions.

Back for its seventh year in at Claremont Farm, founder and Mowgli CEO, Nisha Katona’s has dubbed the annual dog show ‘Glastonbury for pet lovers’.

“Mowgli Street Food was born in the North West and it is within the communities that my heart lies. Your support by coming to the dog show, and dining with us at Mowgli Street Food, has meant we have raised over £300,000 for Claire House and the children and families who need them.”

Every penny of profit from the event goes directly to Claire House, helping to support seriously and terminally ill babies, children and young adults, and their families.

The Reader to launch a new open air cinema this summer! 📽️

Eight handpicked films are set to hit the big screen in the heart of Calderstones Park this July as national Shared Reading charity @thereaderorg unveils a brand-new outdoor cinema for Liverpool.

The Reader will be launching Liverpool’s biggest new open-air cinema this summer with a selection of brilliant films, ranging from literary adaptations to feel-good classics and family-friendly favourites. Screenings will run from Wednesday 30th July right through to Thursday 28th August, set against the backdrop of the idyllic Grade II listed Georgian Mansion House.

Tickets cost £14.50 for adults and £9.50 for under 16s with Calderstones members having access to priority booking from 10am today and a 10% discount. General sale tickets will be available from Tuesday 10th June. 🎞️
