A Merseyside children’s hospice has created its own playful take on hit BBC series The Traitors, bringing teamwork, laughter and a welcome distraction to families, young people and staff.
Meet Sandy, the Box Office Supervisor celebrating an incredible 50 years at the Floral Pavilion! 👏🥳
We caught up with her to hear what it’s been like working at the iconic New Brighton theatre over the past five decades, along with her highlights and what audiences can look forward to in the months ahead.

Last night a tenant at Shaws Alley in the Baltic Triangle came home to an unannounced visitor. found at 11pm last night. 🐍
A 6ft Milk Snake had popped into the apartment to say hello, and so far its owners haven’t been found.
Ian Taylor of Taylor Almond Property says: “Usually we find phone chargers, laptops and clothes left in our properties, never in 25 years have I had a snake issue”
The reptile is being cared for by Merseyside Reptile Rescue services until its owner is located. If you know who the owner could be please contact @tayloralmondproperty.

Claire House urgently needs to build a children’s hospice in Liverpool to provide specialist nursing, end‑of‑life care, comfort and emotional support for seriously and terminally ill babies, children, young adults and their families. 🩵
Their current base in West Derby could solve this problem and there are plans to create a fully functional children’s hospice within the site.
But Claire House needs your help to do it.
