Our regular Guide Liverpool PT Jason Porter has some tips on how you can make the most of your physique this weekend and a short work out plan to help you look your best. So lads, its Valentine’s Day this weekend and we know you want to look your best for that special someone. We have a few tips for you to help you look the part this weekend…
Tip Number One: LOOK FOR CLOTHES THAT ENHANCE YOUR SHOULDERS
This is a very important rule. Shop and make sure you find a shirt that enhances your shoulders. You will look a lot more athletic if your shoulders look a lot bigger than your waist. Creating that V shape really sets the tone that you go the gym…and everyone loves a gym bod right?
Tip Number Two: OBSERVE THE SEAMS
The seams are very important. Look in the mirror and see where the seams of your shirts sit! If the seams sit below your shoulders not only will the shirt look too big, you’ll also look like your muscles aren’t big enough to fit the shirt. Look at it either way, all the hard work won’t be noticed! So remember, check where those seams sit!
Tip Number Three: WEAR WHITE
It is a well-known fact that wearing black makes you look slimmer, however the opposite holds true for white! Wearing white can actually make you look bigger and leaner! Go get that white shirt, check the seams and look lean on your Valentines date!
Tip Number Four: HAVE GOOD POSTURE & CONFIDENCE
Posture is perfect for everyday life, and just as important on a date! Perfect posture will make you look lean and keep those seams where they are meant to sit! Tip Number Two: WEAR ITEMS THAT DRAW IN AT YOUR WAIST
If you choose an outfit that fits perfectly, but still think you don’t look as hot as you’d like, choose something that draws in at your hips! When your clothing draws in at your waist, you will instantly look thinner!
Tip number Three: PERFECT POSTURE IS A MUST!
Sometimes we wear perfectly fitted clothes, clothes that draw in at the waist and we still don’t feel like going to that fancy restaurant on valentine’s night! Ever wonder why? Maybe it’s all down to our posture! Having perfect posture is important in everyday life and extremely important on a date! By holding yourself properly, you can instantly look a lot more lean and ready to strut into that flashy hotel! Try it!
Tip Number Four: WEAR FLASHY ACCESSORIES
If all else fails, we have one final tip for you ladies! Wear flashy accessories! Whether that by s flashy fascinator, a dazzling set of earrings or a blingy necklace! Wearing flashy accessories can often draw attention away from parts of the body we are not so confident about!

By working out on the day of your valentine’s date you will not only feel a lot better, you’ll look it too! Working out on the day will boost your endorphins and make you happier, less stressed and also make you feel better about yourself!
