The Art School has released its plans and menus for the festive season

This Christmas at The Art School in Liverpool promises to be extra special.

The fine-dining restaurant is preparing for a wonderful festive period, with an array of menu choices from prix fixe to taster and with Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve prix fixe and New Year’s Eve tasting experiences too.

An abundance of locally sourced food and globally-sourced drink matched to the exquisite Sugnall Street experience creates a truly unique occasion, and December promises to bring the year to a celebratory conclusion at the beautiful multi-room location.

Chef Askew’s Christmas Emporium is returning and includes The Art School Gourmet Christmas Box, The Art School Gift Box and The Bordeaux half dozen as gift ideas for loved ones. Vouchers are also available. And from Tuesday to Saturday in The Art School Cellars, Afternoon Christmas Tea takes place with sumptuous sandwiches, scones, desserts, tea and coffee and fizz.

In addition to the main Lantern Room setting, the Victorian building features a stunning private wine tasting space and The Moriarty Room. Both are available to book for bigger Christmas gatherings, parties and events.

“I absolutely love Christmas – it’s my favourite time of the year and The Art School is a hive of activity by day and into the night. We’ve got a range of fabulous menus for everyone, from our prix fixe to the full tasting experience with paired wines. Looking back on 2022, I’m very proud of all we have achieved and how my team have worked incredibly hard. We also brought The Art School to The Grand National and helped bring to life Martins Bank Building during Taste Liverpool. Drink Bordeaux.

“We also reached 18^th place in the Harden’s 100 Best UK Restaurants 2022 and we have been Michelin recommended since we opened, along with achieving 2 AA rosettes. We remain wedded to the ethos of sustainability, provenance and ethical farming, and work with an abundance of suppliers within a 35-mile radius of the restaurant.
