Tom Farrell to take on Ohara Davies at Battle on the Mersey

Liverpool fight fans will be out in force at the Echo Arena on Saturday for another cracking night of boxing

Paul Butler headlines the card as he takes on Stuart Hall in a world title eliminator. But there’s loads of interest in bouts between Rocky Fielding and David Brophy and Sean “Masher” Dodd’s local derby against Tom Stalker.

Our Matt caught up with another scouser on the bill – Tom Farrell. He’s unbeaten in thirteen contests, but has a tough night on his hands as he defnds his International Super Lightweight title against Ohara Davies.

Davies isn’t the most popular person on Merseyside after describing scousers as “bums”, but Farrell is determined to get pay back for that.
