We check out the Liverpool businesses that have Christmas in the bag…..ALREADY!

It’s now less than 100 days until Christmas and these Liverpool shops and businesses have everything you could possibly need to celebrate the big day.

For those who love Christmas, like our Simmo, it’s never too early to start getting into the festive spirit and where better to find out about this years trends and themes than at The Christmas Decorators, in Speke. Come on, no one is surprised that the shops are stocking Christmas gear already, its the same story every year so instead of moaning about it, we’ve done a round up of where to get your advent calendars, multi-pack Christmas cards and even a limited edition Mickey Mouse bauble. Imagine how smug you’ll feel knowing you’ve got Christmas 2017 all wrapped up before the big Liverpool One Christmas Tree and lights switch on event on Thursday 9th November.

The only downside to getting all your Christmas treats in early, is not eating them and putting a stone on before the festivities really begin! If you can resist temptation and you want to avoid the naughty list……read on.

1 – Boots, Clayton Square

You’ve scrimped and saved every last point possible and its now time to go wild in the Boots aisles as the 3 for 2 mix & match offers come into store. If you don’t buy or receive a Soap & Glory gift box, is it even Christmas? Spend those hard earned points you’ve saved all year round and treat yourself while you’re at it.

2 – John Lewis, Liverpool One

The 3rd Floor of John Lewis, Liverpool One is basically a Christmas wonderland, we defy you to not let out a little gasp or ‘oooooh’ as you come up the escalator because the decorations and trees and gifts and trinkets are spectacular. Stock up on baubles, wreaths, garlands and so much more now, before the November rush.

3 – Poundland, Williamson Square

Everyone knows that advent calendar chocolate is rank, but guess what? We still buy them every year! Poundland have a huge assortment in already from the cute to the traditional and the funny ones. Why spend more than you have to when you know fine well you’ll have eaten them all the chocolates and closed the windows again by Dec 15th??

4 – Disney Store, Liverpool One

Disney have released a new wave of Christmas Tree decorations in the form of the Sketchbook collection. These old school and seriously cute ornaments will make a welcome addition to any tree. There’s a whole display of tonnes of characters available too including princesses, Lion King, Lilo & Stitch….you name it. Great for secret santa these too.

5 – Paperchase, MetQuarter

Paperchase do some awesome cards and stationery and really come into their own at this time of year with quirky, funny, traditional and random packs of Christmas cards that are all charity associated. So by sending a card you’re also helping to support a charity. Awww well in Paperchase, we love the dog ones!

6 – Clintons, Liverpool One

Now anyone who’s anyone will already have the dates for LIMF, Creamfields, British Style Collective etc in their google calendar as tickets go on sale months in advance, and why not stick ’em on your wall with a bit of modern art from Clintons? There are loads of 2018 calendars and diaries to choose from that again could make for a handy secret Santa prezzie.
