Cheshire Oaks’ 30th Birthday Party

It’s an incredible 30 years since Cheshire Oaks first opened and it’s celebrating its anniversary by hosting a fantastic free gig with some famous names including Kimberly Wyatt and Take That’s Howard Donald, plus a secret chart-topping headliner, this Friday from 8pm.

Rock superstars don’t come any bigger, or cooler, than The Boss and his gigs at Anfield this Wednesday and Saturday are going to be an amazing experience for fans. Springsteen’s live shows are legendary and he’s already said how excited he is for his first time here so it’s going to be memorable.

This is one of the most fun dates of the year for dog lovers, raising a massive amount for Claire House Hospice. Mowgli owner Nisha Katona teams up with Claremont Farm in Bebington for a family-friendly event this weekend with competitions, demonstrations, classes, stalls and entertainment.

Experience the new exhibition at FACT

Exhibitions at FACT are often thought-provoking and this latest one by British artist Amartey Golding, on show until August, is no exception. Since 2023, he has been working with groups of imprisoned men at HMP Altcourse in Fazakerley to make a suit of armour, creating the latest piece in his Chainmail series.

Explore Princes Park

We’re spoilt for choice with lovely green spaces in our city and the Grade II listed Princes Park is one of them. Set over more than 100 acres, it’s got a serpentine lake and lots of interesting historic features to spot while you take a stroll on the circular pathway originally built for carriages in the 1800s.
