Payday is on the horizon, here’s how to spend your last October weekend in Liverpool.

The city is bursting with stuff to do this weekend from Halloween parties to old skool club nights and live performances, we’ve got something for everyone. Read on and plan a boss weekend in the best city in the world…

Friday

Hip Hop Halloween, Grand Central

Kick off your Halloween with some old skool rhymes. The Dough Bar at Grand Central hosts the Big Condo Hip Hop Halloween bash on Friday night with a seriously impressive line up of live acts. DJ Royzy Rothschild takes to the decks to host live performances from Cash Pound Notes, Ceemax and more. Get your Halloween weekend started here on Friday 27th October, Fancy Dress is a must! Disco 54, District

Celebrate all that is great in disco, funk and house this Friday night as the Baltic Triangle welcomes Disco 54. Embracing the great Studio 54 classics, remixed with new funky house beats, immersing all within the live dance performance experience. Sounds wicked! Advance discounted tickets and info here.

Medication Mexico Carnival, Arts Club

Raving Mad Fridays are back at Medication, Liverpool’s iconic student dance night and The Arts Club is gearing up for a day of the dead Halloween carnival! Down-town Mexico City hits Liverpool and things are gonna get hot, spicy and eerily Loco. Sugar Skull masks and face-painting, pinatas and Margaritas, Feel the chill of the Dia de Muertos in the crazy world of Med! Tickets here.

Graham & Butler, Anthems at the Opera House

Expect a night of old skool memories and haunted house as Dave Graham, Lee Butler and special guests come together for a one off Halloween special at Liverpool Olympia. Tickets and info here. Crystal Waters live at Kingdom

Oh yes, you read that right! OMD, Liverpool Empire Theatre

Is your head still banging? Skip the clubs and trip the pop synth fantastic as OMD are back on the road with their new album ‘The Punishment of Luxury and will be performing at the Liverpool Empire for one night only. Liverpool Music Week continues at 24 Kitchen Street

Liverpool Music Week continues its 15th anniversary celebrations with Abstract Orchestra plays Madvillainy. All-star, hip hop Big Band, Abstract Orchestra is made up of the finest musicians taking inspiration from The Roots, Jay Z, J Dilla and more and merges great musical arrangements with hip hop from across the decades. Wonderland, Blade Factory

Think you know the Alice in Wonderland tale? Think again, as you follow the White Rabbit into a nightmare killer hunt this Halloween. A young girl called Alice has been brutally attacked and kidnapped from her Liverpool home and its up to you to find her. DBY Interactive Theatre invites you into the Blade Factory (above Camp & Furnace) this October to experience a new breed of scare attraction that is more twisted, jumpy and downright terrifying than you could ever imagine!
