Bank holiday weekend is on the horizon, let Your Guide Liverpool help you get through to the three day party.
This week we’re all about preparing for the weekend with some new cinema, tasty menu’s, a big dollop of local music and culture and of course our usual round up of brand new cocktails and gigs. This wouldn’t be your ‘what’s on in Liverpool guide’ without a festival or two so we’re looking forward to three days of acoustic music as Folk on the Dock returns to Albert Dock and we’re booking for Reminisce 2017 too.

Monday 21st August
Conor Oberst at O2 Academy
Whether you know him from Desaparecidos or The Mystic Valley Band, Conor Oberst is making waves and hitting the o2 Academy this Monday night with tracks from album Ruminations. Tickets here.

Slavery Museum 10th Anniversary celebrations
The International Slavery Museum, Albert Dock annual celebrations include the walk of remembrance, the unity carnival, a libation on the waterfront and the Dorothy Kuya Slavery Remembrance Lecture, which will be delivered by Dr Gee Walker this year. Get involved here.
