Where to Indulge in Liverpool on World Chocolate Day 

With World Chocolate Day taking place on Sunday 7th July, there’s no better time to indulge your inner chocoholic. From creative chocolate cocktails, to theatrical melting desserts, there’s a whole plethora of chocolatey goods to be enjoyed around Liverpool.

Aether

Situated in the heart of the city in Liverpool ONE, Aether is renowned for its expertly crafted cocktails and opulent interiors. Aether has just launched its new summer menu, comprising aromatic signature mixes inspired by each of the elements.

The Chilli Chocolate Cocktail, which can be found in the ‘Fire’ section, is made from Santa Teresa 1796, Campari, Vanilla and chilli chocolate, and with the Yu Donut food residency, guests can soak up their cocktails with a variety of dim sum, noodles and delicious savoury doughnuts.

Titanic Hotel Liverpool

Chocoholics will love the ‘Dark Chocolate Sphere’ dessert on offer at Stanley’s Bar & Grill at Titanic Hotel. Sit back and watch the sphere melt away when the warm chocolatesauce is poured on top, to reveal a decadent dessert of chocolate mousse and raspberry sorbet.

Roly’s Fudge

Specialising in award-winning homemade fudge, Roly’s Fudge at the Royal Albert Dock is the perfect place to pick up a sweet treat. The chocolate variety is crafted from 100% cocoa, providing the ideal chocolate hit when roaming around the Dock, one of the UK’s most visited tourist attractions.

Puffle Waffle

The Hong Kong bubble waffle is the lates dessert delicacy to land on Liverpool’s shores. The famous street food is puffy, soft, crispy and even tastier when paired with chocolateice cream, strawberries and banana.

Peaberry Coffee House & Kitchen

Peaberry’s Royal Albert Dock site has just expanded to offer an Italian-style ice cream parlour with 22 flavours, comprising dairy, vegan and sorbet varieties. Chocolate lovers are spoilt for choice, with options including ‘Death by Chocolate’, ‘Mint Chocolate Chip’, ‘Galaxy Caramel’ and ‘Oreo’, to name a few.
