You can get bottomless red wine at Verdant every Sunday

Liverpool Restaurant Verdant is encouraging customers to raise a glass to the weekend – by inviting them to celebrate with Bottomless Red Wine Sundays.

The popular Allerton Road venue already offers Bottomless Prosecco with Brunch, but the special new promotion offers a little extra to highlight the special Sunday Roast menu.

Visitors to the eaterie and wine bar favoured by celebs can now enjoy a Sunday Roast of beef, lamb, chicken or a nut roast; a starter or dessert of their choice, plus bottomless red wine (or white or rose) for 1.5 hours for just £34.95.

Manager of Verdant, Ashton Tansey, said: “We, like many restaurants, offer bottomless Prosecco with the ever-favoured brunch, but we thought what about those who love a glass (or a few) of wine? So we created the idea to run alongside our Sunday Roast which, we reckon, is the perfect combination – it offers amazing value for money, two courses of mouth-watering food and unlimited wine.

“On a Sunday we offer a choice of our A La Carte Menu with the addition of the much-loved roast dinner, which is available after 3pm once brunch is over.”

She added: “Our Sunday Roast is a local favourite and has gained quite a reputation over the past 12 months.

“There is always a more relaxed atmosphere in Verdant on a Sunday with many families joining us to finish off their week in the lovely, laid back surroundings.

“We have quite an eclectic mix of age groups dining with us so this promotion is aimed at a broad range of customers, simply offering the chance to have a relaxed afternoon with family or a catch-up with friends and enjoy a nice glass of wine or two.”*

Verdant has gone from strength to strength since it opened just over a year ago.  Ashton and the rest of the staff have been overwhelmed by the support of local residents and those living further afield in the city travelling to experience the exquisite cuisine offered by award-winning chefs, cocktails and gins created by skilled mixologists and first-class service guaranteed by the friendly front-of-house team.
