Hello routine! It’s back to business this week as the summer hols comes to an end but that doesn’t mean the fun ends too.
This week Your Guide Liverpool is lining up 7 days of culture, theatre, comedy, delicious food and the biggest and best old school clubbing festival as Reminisce returns to Sherdley Park on Saturday. If you’re looking for somewhere to mooch about, a new lunch spot or a classy cocktail bar, we can sort you out.

Monday 4th September
Breakfast with style at The Alchemist, Brunswick Street
The Alchemist has so much more to offer than just phenomenal cocktails! The breakfast menu is divine with a range of dishes available from 9am. Feast on waffles and bacon, full English, full American, yoghurts, eggs benedict and tonnes more. Start your week off right and check out the menu here.
Lorra Love at Cilla the Musical, Empire Theatre
What better way to start your week than with a bit of musical theatre and a whole lot of Liverpool love? Cilla the Musical opened at our Empire Theatre last week and runs until 16th September. With a phenomenal cast, you’ll meet The Beatles and other famous faces as you follow Cilla’s story to stardom. Tickets here.
Cities of Exchange, Liverpool International Photography Festival
Have you checked out the LIPF Look 17 exhibition at the Victoria Gallery, Ashton Street? Twinning Liverpool and Hong Kong ‘Building the Civic’ looks at the fascinating similarities and differences between the two cities, including social housing and culture. Check it out here.
Tuesday 5th September
Lunch from The Bagelry, Nelson Street
Why would you settle for a boring butty when The Bagelry, Nelson Street is offering up divine looking bagels like this brand new salted beef creation!? From breakfast bagels, berry bagels, fillings galore and even soups, it’s no wonder that they sell out on a regular basis! Info here.
Quiz Night with Keith at The Merchant, Slater Street
Tuesday nights are all about the quiz at The Merchant. With special guest, Keith from The Office there’s drinks at 6, quiz at 8, tickets are £8, and teams of around 4-6 people are spot on. You can expect boss drinks, boss prizes and even better laughs. Info here.

Catalan tapas at Neon Jamon, Berry Street

Comedy down the ‘Ozzy at The Royal Court
The old Royal Hospital is due for demolition but with one ward and it’s bonkers staff holding on to nostalgia, will they avoid the wrecking ball and make it into the shiny new hospital? The jam-packed schedule includes specially curated stalls, including vintage, craft and local produce, free introductions to Shared Reading sessions and a chance to see the Calder Stones and Mansion House up close. REMINISCE 2017, Sherdley Park, St Helens
If you do nothing else this weekend, get a last minute ticket and get to Sherdley Park for Reminisce 2017. More than 120 iconic acts, artists and DJ’s are flocking to the 6 HUGE arenas to perform live for 11 hours of pure, unadulterated clubbing. Seriously, get there. Tickets available here.
