We threw John in at the deep end and sent him over to complete the longest safari drive in the UK, right here on our doorstep in Knowsley!

Driving around in the car isn’t the only way to get up, close & personal with the animals, you can also take a walk on the wild side on the amazing foot safari!

And this week, Knowsley Safari is hosting a magical storybook adventure with Once Upon A Time, which will transform the foot safari into a world of mythical creatures, storytelling and wonder! 🤩

Veterans For Veterans have just completed their incredible coast to coast charity run, which started in Hull and finished right here in Liverpool! 🏃

Remembering Bebe King on World Bee Day 🐝💛

Local businesses and communities in Southport have come together to wear yellow, be kind & remember Bebe today.

If you take a short walk through Southport, you’ll see beautifully decorated bee-themed shop windows, yellow-themed specials on the menu and much much more throughout the area.

There is even a 5K run taking place on Ainsdale beach in memory of Bebe at 7pm this evening, raising money for the incredible work that @bebeshiveuk does.

House of Memories is an incredible programme set up to support those living with dementia right here in Liverpool.

It’s ran by teams at National Museums Liverpool and offers training, access to resources, and museum-based activities to enable carers to provide person-centred care for people living with dementia.

Within the award-winning initiative, things like Memory Strolls, Memory Suitcases and On The Road museums offer memorable experiences, using the power of objects, memories and storytelling to help people living with dementia, along with their carers, families and support workers.

We met some of the people involved in the revolutionary programme and visited the Museum of Liverpool where some of the activities were taking place.

This week is Dementia Action Week, so the perfect time to hear more about this extraordinary Liverpool project. ...
