A new Dementia Cafe is opening in Southport this December, promising a warm welcome to people with dementia and to the family members and carers who look after them.

This week, we’re giving you an insight into a great initiative around hotspot policing with @merseysidepolice. It’s increasing foot patrols in key areas and putting on free sessions for young people to help prevent anti-social behaviour. 🏙️
In video two of our series, we speak to some of the young people involved to find out how they’re engaging with the programme.
Tomorrow, Superintendent Phil Mullally will tell us how these hotspots have been identified and we join officers on a patrol in one of these key areas.
