2026 is set to be a HUGE year for Southport as a massive calendar of events has been unveiled.
Southport 2026 will include a major programme of cultural events launching with the recreation of an iconic photograph and including giant chandeliers, world class circus performers and never ending rainbows.
We were at the launch of the year of culture for Southport at The Grand on Lord Street. Bridge Chapel in Garston has unveiled a brand new remembrance garden ahead of Remembrance Sunday this weekend! 🫶
Complete with an estimated 5,000 handmade poppies, this project has been in the works since February and we’re so pleased to see its completion.
Bridge Chapel will be hosting a Remembrance Service on Sunday 9th November and an Act of Remembrance on Tuesday 11th November.
