Have you heard the story of the Kirkby ski slope❓
Taking the Piste is on now at Liverpool’s Royal Court and audiences are loving it!
The show takes you back to Liverpool in the 1970’s and one of the wildest chapters in the city’s history.
It’s on until 18 July and a must-see if you fancy a giggle, some nostalgia and want to hear more about this unbelievable story ⛷️

Last night a tenant at Shaws Alley in the Baltic Triangle came home to an unannounced visitor. found at 11pm last night. 🐍
A 6ft Milk Snake had popped into the apartment to say hello, and so far its owners haven’t been found.
Ian Taylor of Taylor Almond Property says: “Usually we find phone chargers, laptops and clothes left in our properties, never in 25 years have I had a snake issue”
The reptile is being cared for by Merseyside Reptile Rescue services until its owner is located. If you know who the owner could be please contact @tayloralmondproperty.

Claire House urgently needs to build a children’s hospice in Liverpool to provide specialist nursing, end‑of‑life care, comfort and emotional support for seriously and terminally ill babies, children, young adults and their families. 🩵
Their current base in West Derby could solve this problem and there are plans to create a fully functional children’s hospice within the site.
But Claire House needs your help to do it.
